Debate and Diplomacy after several years of turmoil in the world with natural disasters, political unrest, and a global pandemic now is the time to look back in History to see when other situations resulted in much debate and perhaps some diplomacy. All projects submitted to the state contest need to be in line with the theme for this year.
2021 Nevada History Day State Contest Awards Ceremony
The theme for 2021 is Communication in History: the Key to Understanding. What a year for this theme, the opportunity to look back in history to see events, people, and experiences that shaped how we communicate and how we understand each other as humans can teach us so much. The lessons our history day students can share with us this year are sure to be incredible.
This year all projects will be uploaded through our online registration system, judges will be able to access everything needed to evaluate projects in the online registration system. You will also be able to access your score sheets through that system.

There will be no student interviews this year.
Award Information will be announced on April 10th. The awards video will be posted on this site, as well as our social media channels.
